기술은 우리 인간의 일상생활뿐만 아니라 문화, 사회, 정치 등 여러 영역에 영향을 미치며 우리 삶의 변화를 이끌고 있다. 이러한 기술 기반의 변화는 점차 가속화 되고 있으며, 우리의 삶뿐만 아니라 기업의 존속에 직접 및 간접적으로 영향을 미치고 있다. 이러한 기술변화의 패러다임 속에서 우리는 어떤 방향으로 가야 할 지에 대해 모색해야 하며, 개인과 기업은 이전과 다른 방식의 접근으로 미래를 준비해야 한다. 서울과학기술대학교 기술경영 프로그램은 이러한 기술변화의 패러다임 속에서 기술의 변화를 이해하고, 기술변화에 맞는 전략을 수립할 수 있는 전문인력을 양성하고자 한다. 특히 기술기반의 전문가들이 현재 소속된 조직에서 더 성장할 수 있는 기반지식과 산학이 연계된 다양한 프로그램을 통해 기술경영에 대한 이해를 높이고자 한다.
